Not much! You'll need to create a free account with Audible and/or Spotify in order to redeem most review codes, if you don't already have that. Some books may come with other types of review codes, like Kobo or Downpour, in which case you would need to have free accounts with those sites/apps as well.
You will never need a paid membership to any of these services in order to redeem a review code.
In rarer cases, review copies may be sent in the form of a private playlist. The type of review code/copy available will always be noted in the audiobook's listing on our site. Be sure to double check that before making your request. Audible review codes are region specific (typically US or UK), so make note of that as well. They cannot be interchanged.

It's important to note that you listened to the audiobook and mention the narrator by name. You don't need to write a full page (unless you want to!), 3-5 sentences will do.
Yes! FTC regulations require you to disclose when you've received an audiobook for free in exchange for a review.
We recommend copying and pasting the following disclaimer into your review:
"I received a copy of this audiobook from AdoptAnAudiobook.com in exchange for an honest review. The gifting of it did not affect my opinion."

Email us! We will be happy to grant you an extension on the review if you notify us to a delay. However, you will be unable to adopt more audiobooks until the review has been submitted.
Short answer: Wherever you can!
Longer answer: That ultimately depends on where you heard the audiobook. The only way you'll be able to post a review on Audible is by hearing the audiobook through their app, which requires an Audible promo code.
If you received a Spotify promo code or a review code/copy from somewhere else, you will not be able to post your review on Audible, but you can usually post it on the platform where you heard the audiobook. At the very least, posting a review on Goodreads is always a great option.
Go in and 'whitelist' our email address by adding it to your contacts. Some email providers have settings that automatically delete incoming junk/spam, so be sure to add hello@adoptanaudiobook.com to your contacts.
